Thanks for posting these. I have a pretty beat up 1875 5 Franc Hercules and it's one of the reasons I collect silver coins to this day. You've made me very nostalgic :-)

the new euro Hercules at 50 percent silver is a nice coin as well, though a little light on the silver for me. I prefer the older 10 francs as well.
