Overweight Eagle

This "mother of all Eagles" weight a hefty 1/2 pound, equivalent to 8x 1 ounce regular Silver Eagle! Struck by Washington Mint, this is one nice paperweight to display on the desk :p

1986 Mexican Libertad 1 oz Silver Proof

Unlike the 1990 proof which has reeded rims, the 1986 Libertad has "INDEPENDENCIA Y LIBERTAD" inscribed around its rim.
All post 1988 Libertads no longer has this inscription.

24k Gold Double Plated American Eagle 2003

1989 PROOF Canadian SIlver Maple

Only 30,000 of this $5 Silver Proof were issued in 1989 by the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) to commemorate its 10th anniversary.

It has an ultra deep mirror finish with very sharp frosted details of the Queen's effigy and the Maple leaf (you can actually see the reflection of my camera). The display case made of maple wood, which is a rarity itself, adds to the investment value of this beautiful piece.

The design of the $5 Silver Maple Leaf (SML) is static. However, privy marks were added in later years to commemorate special event/occassions and usually minted in limited amount, thus creating a added premium subsequently in the secondary market, with some privy mark selling for more than US$200 a piece!

In addtion, key date like 1997 commands a premium as only about 100,000 SMLs were minted that year, as compared to the average of more than 1 million pieces annually.

1990 Mexican Libertad Proof

This is the 1st generation Mexican Silver Libertad featuring the original Independence Angel on one side (New Independence Angel design was introduced in 1996 onwards) and the national symbol of Mexico, an eagle with a snake in its mouth standing on a cactus on the other.

Kangaroo at Sunset, Royal Australia Mint

The Royal Australian Mint’s 2009 Kangaroo at Sunset coin has been nominated for Krause Publication’s “People’s Choice” Coin of the Year. The stunning yet simple design has already won the hearts of many avid coin collectors and is up against some tough competition from all around the world.
This coin has already sold out completely.
With an extremely low mintage of just 4000 Proof pieces, this coin is set to appreciate in value much faster than the price of silver!

2009 Mexican Silver Libertad

The Libertad is Mexico's treasure coin and is minted at Casa de Moneda de Mexico, which was established in 1536 and is the oldest Mint in North America.

These magnificent BU .999 fine 1 oz Silver bullion coins are very popular with collectors. The obverse features the Independence Angel against a backdrop of the "Lovers' Peaks" twin volcanoes. The reverse carries the national seal of Mexico surrounded by previous seals used during Mexico's history. Pictures shown here are the new design adopted since 1996.

Due to the low mintage, the Libertads command a premium over the American Eagles and Canadian Maples.
More info & mintage figures HERE.

Original mint roll of 20 silver Libertads.
